About Kremer Childrens Christmas Service Programs
Thank you for considering a Kremer childrens Christmas service for your church or school. Becuase this childrens Christmas service is fully reproducible, we cannot provide sample pages of the entire program. We have, however, included the opening introduction page, plus the first and last parts of each Christmas service. This should give you a good idea of the service structure.
Each childrens Christmas service comes with:
- Reproducible Teacher/Student Score on CD or sent to you via the Internet. (Both scores are formatted in PDF - the Student Score is also in Word format.)
- Sing-Along/Accompaniment music on CD or sent via the internet as an MP3. (You will need proper software to change the internet MP3 versions into a listening CD.)
'Words of Christmas' Childrens Christmas Service Description
Grades: K-9
Length: 50 Minutes
Group Size: Any
Our society associates many words with Christmas. Some of the first ones thatmight come to mind may be rather secular, like lights, presents, trees, cookies, andgreeting cards. Some even associate words like Santa and reindeer withChristmas. But the Christian treasures a very different set of words: Savior, love, heaven, salvation, and rejoice are but a few. This childrens Christmas service leads thecongregation to focus on four words: hope, joy, peace, and praise. These wordsdepict the story of God’s promise to save us from our sins through our lovingSavior. Each word recounts the lives of those in the Bible who were connectedwith the birth of Jesus. In addition, they are also applied to us today. Yet the service does not end withthose words. It would be impossible to speak of the words of Christmas without presenting thebeautiful connection of the birth of Jesus, the true Word, as found in John 1. “In the beginning was theWord. The Word was with God. The Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us!”

Dear Lord, on a wondrous night you sent your son to take on frail human flesh in order that all who believe in Jesus might be saved. You sent angels to herald his birth in Bethlehem and a star to proclaim it to the ends of the earth. Send us now as messengers of your good news and proclaimers of your peace. In Jesus name we pray. Amen |
