    'One of the most challenging tower defense games than you can play. I played in 2009 for the first time, on PC. Then I tried the mobile version that is as good as the original. Although it's older than some of the competitors is still the king of the genre so I recommend it a lot if you're looking for a good game that doesn't require Internet connection. '

    'It doesn't get better than this. I was waiting, and waiting for the next version of P vs Z and we finally got it! This game solves all the previous bugs from the original version and adds a bunch of features that I had no clue I wanted or needed. It's still the same enjoying gameplay, but with a lot more twists. No need to download another tower defense game for a while!'

Did you know that the tower defense game genre is generally considered to be based on the game-changing release of Atari Games, Rampart? Rampart, which was released as an arcade game in 1990, is widely accepted as the tower defense game that popularized the genre. It combined features of the shoot 'em up and puzzle games instantly became a hit. In the game, players must build and repair towers to defend their territories against passing ships or to destroy enemy towers. Because of its popularity, it was then ported to different gaming platforms like SNES, Sega Master System, Lynx, PC, Mac, Commodore 64, and Amiga. In recent times, the game was so influential it was included in the Midway Arcade Treasures that can be played on GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PS portable. It was also included in the Midway Arcade Origins that can be played on PS3 and Xbox 360. Tower defense games enjoyed a boom in 2007, when Desktop Tower Defense won an Independent Games Festival award, leading to a stream of tower defense releases. In 2008, PixelJunk Monsters was released, along with Defense Grid: The Awakening and Savage Moon. It also led to the diversification of tower defense games, especially with the arrival of games like Plant vs Zombies and Infinite Wars.

    'I get so tired of games on my phone needing a mobile connection. Most of the time I am on a plane when I am playing games like this and I can't even do it without an expensive wifi charge. FINALLY I found something that is a good game and doesn't require me to be online all the time. It's a lot of fun too, does a good job of passing the time. '

    'I like tower defense games but a lot of them takes themselves too seriously. This is not the case of Swamp Attack, a great TD game with a lot of sense of humor, tons of fun animations and hilarious characters (even a dangerous granny!). Although the multiplayer mode is great it has also an offline game, perfect when your data plan is finishing.'

Instead of just upgrading your tower, you can actually choose from over 30 ways to customize it the way you want. The gameplay is addicting and keeps you entertained for hours.'

    'The gameplay is nearly flawless..I have even come across a commerical yet. I've played many TD games before, and I gotta say this has been one the absolute best. Haven't found it necessary to make any purchases yet but am considering one or two different things which would allow me to level up quicker. What I also, love about it is that each level has such a wide range of difficulty..one level might stump you and then you can breeze through the next 3.'

    'This game is made to be on of the best I found from the small studio somewhere in Russia. You get customization and all but what I like most is ability to influence game direction. They don't have large audience so they listen closely to the feedback. I proposed they added hard versions of the levels. 3 weeks later - they did. So for me it's kinda like im part of the process which is super cool'
