Pre-requisite

  • Scanned copy of the applicant’s Passport size photo
  • Scanned copy of Age proof
  • Scanned copy of Address proof

Documents eligible

  • Age Proof – Birth Certificate, Driving license, High school mark sheet, PAN card, Aadhaar letter issued by the UIDAI, and Passport.
  • Address proof – Passport, Ration card, Driving license, Land phone bill, Electricity bill, Gas bill, Rent Agreement, Income tax assessment bill, letter or post delivered by the Indian postal department and Water Authority bills

Applying voters’ ID in Gujarat

Step 1: Visit official Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat or click here instead https://ceo.gujarat.gov.in/Default

Step 2: On the Home screen page you will find twooptions, select the option “Online Voter Registration” or click here http://www.nvsp.in/

Step 3: Now, a new tab opens with the heading “National Voter’s Services Portal” and below that, you will find several options arranged in 2 rows. Select the option “ Apply Online for registration of new voter/due to shifting for AC” or click here http://www.nvsp.in/Forms/Forms/form6

Step 4: Now, the page redirects to another page with the heading “Form 6” and also has a fill-up form below it. The default language of the form is in Hindi, the page has options to change the language. Click the drop-down button above the heading to select the language. Step 5: Now, start filling in the form carefully. PS: Theasterisk (*) marked fields are mandatory. If you skip any asterisk marked fields, the server will not accept the form.

Step 6: Now start filling in the form as requested, be careful that all the details are as correct as same as on the records. PS: On the fill-up form you will be asked to enter the email ID and mobile number, please enter these details correctly. The server will send updates to this email ID and mobile number.

Step 7: If you have started the form filling, you will find the next field as upload the proof documents. The first field is to upload “Your Photograph”, to upload the photograph, click “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, now select the photo (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button on the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded instantly.

Step 8: The field will be to upload the “Age-Proof”, click the button “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, select the document required (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button at the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded. Now, select the type of document that you have uploaded from drop-down menu near.

Step 9: Next, The field will be to upload the “Address-proof”, click the button “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, select the document required (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button at the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded. Now, select the type of document that you have uploaded from drop-down menu near.

Step 10: Once, you have completed the uploading procedure, fill in the“declaration form” as requested and click the “Submit” button below.

Now the page will display a dialogue box with acknowledgment slip that will have a reference ID mentioned on it. Now with this reference ID, you can check the status of your application. Below mentioned is the step by step procedure to check the status of the application.

Get Voter Id Card Online

Currently, there is no actual option to download the voters’ ID online. In fact, there is no option for downloading voters ID in any web portals or official websites. However, a temporary use of voters’ ID can be downloaded from the Nation Voters’ Services Portal

Step 1: Visit the National Voters’ Services Portal or click here http://www.nvsp.in/

Step 2: Now, on the “National Voter’s Services Portal” home screen, you will find a heading on the right side “Citizen Information” and two options below it. select the option “Booth, AC, and PC”

Step 3: Now, on the fill-up form that appears on the screen fill in all the details carefully and click the “Search” button.

Now if your name is added to the Voters’ list, a new row appears below the fill-up form and your name will be mentioned in it. Click the name, and a new page with all your voters’ ID detail will appear on the screen. Scroll down and you will find a print option, click this option to print the voters’ details and to save the details.
