MAME is an acronym for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. The first public release of the MAME was on Fabruary 5, 1997 by Nicola Salmor. The emulator supports more than 4 thousand unique games and roms. MAME Roms To play MAME roms, an emulator is required. Popular MAME emulators include MAME32 v0.90 for Windows, Nebula v2.23c for Windows, Kawaks v1.63 for Windows. The MAME developers are updating MAME every last Wednesday of the month, so if you download a complete ROMset today it won’t work perfectly fine with the newest MAME version by the end of next month.

Full Mame Romset

This is Mame Fullromset that contains ALL Roms from A to Z that we split the file alphabetically so you don’t have to download a Huge File in one set. This romset is also available in Archive.org that contains Full Set that have size 56 GB. that’s very big for anyone who have slow internet connection . so we decide to split this romset alphabetically so you can download the packs a lot smaller in size and also faster in download speed.

How to Setup Mame 0.161 to Run a game on Your PC ?

Ok. there is a basic to play these wonderful game. You need some files and a little bit setup:

• Mame 0.161 Emulator : Because this romset is 0.161 version, you have to use the emulator with the same version aswell. We recommended to use GUI version of the emulator. It has an attractive, elegant, graphical interface which allows you to forego having to type command line parameters, although it can still be passed these arguments. and also it’s easier to click the icon of the game.
• ROMs : this is a game file. without roms, you can’t play the game. the roms will be in ZIP format. all you need to do is to put this ZIP format in Mame Roms directory. usually in ( Your Mame Directory–roms ). simply put this Zipped file in Roms folder (Caution ! Dont rename this Zipped Archive). For the fullromset. Download the romset and extract it in MAME roms directory.
• BIOS : Some Games will require a BIOS file to run like Neogeo will need neogeo.zip (this is a bios file for Neogeo). BIOS Pack Included in Romset.
• CHD’s : Specific game will need CHD’s file to run. especially that arcade game with 3D graphics. the size of complete CHD’s file is around 350 GB !! Because the overall size in CHDs is very Big, we can’t provide it for now (maybe in the future) but you can search and download individual CHD’s file here

Demisie cu preaviz articol. MAME or the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator application intends to help you emulate an arcade machine on your computer. You can use it to amuse yourself or your friends with some classic arcade games used in video arcades from the 1970's until the modern computer era.

In order to use the application you need a ROM image with the game data. Most of the game images that are available on the Internet cannot be used unless you also own the arcade machine or a license. Fortunately, the developers can provide you with a few game ROMs that can get you started and help you understand the interface.

The application can be run in command line mode in order to view the list of available commands and to enter the command arguments. This allows you to customize the display brightness, the input devices and the video options applied to the emulator.

If you have at least an installed game you can launch the application interface from the executable and play the game. The interface is very simple and allows you to select the game from the list or to customize the player controls before starting to play. You can also use the mouse to move the cursor in order to quickly navigate through the options.

Each game has specific requirements that are displayed when launching the application.
